Gooding Jr. of Quincy, Illinois, born in Paloma, Illinois, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Sr. Gooding and Helen Gooding (Clark); his wife Irene M. Neastea; his sisters, Geraldine Conover (Rocky) and Mary Sandman (Milton "Bud"); and his nephew Phil Conover.
He is survived by: his son Roger Gooding (Tina) of Quincy, IL; his grandchildren, Robin Mathews (Mike) of Quincy and Danielle Terstriep (Jake) of Quincy; his great grandchildren, Emma Mathews, Madison Mathews, Gwen Terstriep and Gabe Terstriep; and his sister Shirley Strieker of Quincy. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Per Everett's request, memorial contributions may be made for the great-grandchildren's educational fund in care of Danielle Terstriep.
