We are sad to announce that, on December 12, 2022, at the age of 83, Florence Schaefer of Quincy, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur A. Young and Florence A. Gibson Young; her husband Ronald M. Schaefer; her brothers, Robert Young and Richard Gibson; and her great grandchild Everly Monroe Schaefer.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Gerhardt of Quincy and Rick Schaefer (Stacy) of Quincy; her grandchildren, Misty Spilker (Craig) of Quincy, Justin Gerhardt (Alana) of Quincy, Nathan Gerhardt (Nicolle) of Quincy and Gavin Schaefer (Laken) of Quincy; her great grandchildren, Brennan, Molly, Noah Spilker, Hudson, Emerson, Hayes, Eli Gerhardt, Dalton Tournear, Brynlee and R. J. Gerhardt; and her sisters, Juanita Danhaus of Quincy, Pat McDowell of Quincy, Joyce McClintock (Bob) of Quincy and Marilyn Schaefer of Quincy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
