She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice "Butch" Jansen and Helen Jansen (O'Brien). She is survived by: her husband Robert Cook of Peter's Church; her children, Brian Cook of Quincy, Gregory Cook (Casey) of Tacoma and Julie McAfee (Jeff) of Louisville, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Grace, Oliver Cook and Eli Meehan.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home (823 Broadway St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (1721 College Ave, Quincy, IL 62301).
