He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Elgin and Mary Gertrude Smith Poore; his son Paul M. Poore; and his siblings, Bobby, Jimmy, Martha, Dickie, Doc and Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Poore of Quincy, IL; and his sister Mary Louise Blackford (Mason Poore) of Shelbyville, MO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, friends.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Donor's Choice.
