He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Otho Bichsel and Tolliver Marie "Tollie" McNeill; his spouse Fae Bichsel; his siblings, Eleanor Kidwell, Bernard Bichsel, George Bichsel, Paul Bichsel, Rita Stark, Pat Bichsel and John Bichsel; and his daughter Pamela Valdez.
He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Bichsel (Tom Memminger) of Lenoir City, TN, John Bichsel of Fairfield, IL, Eric Bichsel (Paula) of Quincy and Amanda Bichsel (Johnnie Fiedelman) of Denver, CO.; his grandchildren, Aleah Valdez, Kayla Bichsel, Cody Bichsel, Morgan Bichsel and Mackenzie Bichsel; his great grandchildren, Logan Valdez, Tyson Davis, Malique Davis, Annaela Bichsel, Dewan Lloyd Jr., Cannon Bichsel, Marie Bichsel, Hendrix Bichsel and Robert Lee Lindsey III; and his siblings, Kenny Bichsel (Roberta) and Angela Lepper (Kent). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
