It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fumiko Stuckey of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Fumiko had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Fumiko may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tatsuyoshi Hashimoto and Mieko Hashimoto; and her husband George Stuckey. She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Stuckey Dimmitt of Quincy; and her friends, Sandra Gibbs, Kaye Yates and Emiko McKenna. She is also survived by two sisters, a brother-in-law and nephew.
