He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Weyland and Thelma Melissa Hoaglin Garner; his sister Reva Pepper; his brother-in-law Merle Pepper; Sean Howland-Lockhart.
He is survived by: his nephew Roger Pepper (Lee Ann) of Pearl, IL; his niece Karla Howland of Pearl, IL; and his close friend Bill Rose of Quincy. He is also survived by numerous grandnieces and grandnephews and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
