He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert "Web" Reis and Mary Reis-Schmidt (Kuchman); his son-in-law Steven Krueger; his siblings, Bobby Reis, Rich Reis and Darlene Williams; and his siblings-in-law, Gayle Reis (Angell) and Gail Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Maggie E. Dixon; his children, Ryan Reis (Molly) of Quincy, Tara Krueger of Quincy and Shane Reis (Robin) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Lucas Reis, Brock, Brooklynne Krueger, Briella and Nixon Reis; his brothers, Dan Reis (Diane) and Steve Reis (Susie); and his sister-in-law Sharon Reis-Kuhlman of Quincy.
