George H. Broemmer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George H. Broemmer (Quincy, Illinois), who passed away on November 26, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Broemmer and Edith Broemmer (Willing); his spouse Ora Frances 'Fran' Spindler; his children, George Broemmer, Jr. and Judy Griner; and his siblings, Albert, Clarence, Bob Broemmer, Marie Upchurch, Stella Maxwell, Florence Patterson and Clara Tucker.

He is survived by: his children, James W. Broemmer, Sr. (Marsha) of Chandler, AZ, Ronald D. Broemmer of Quincy, IL, Nancy Brown (William) of Hudson, IL, Michael Broemmer (Rita) of Quincy, IL and Kevin Broemmer (Teri); his daughter-in-law Judy Aschemann Broemmer of Moline, IL.; and his grandchildren, Misty Kelsy (Mike), Billy Broemmer (Janice), Brad Broemmer (Pam), Brien Broemmer, Christy Fobert, James Broemmer, Jr. (Tracy), Kim Peters (Brad), Chris Broemmer (Dena), Amy Ward (Rick), Gary Lee Miller, Greg Miller (Cheryl Lynn), Jay Miller (Cherie), Judy Lynn Carter (Josh), Bradley Brown (Hannah), Brian Brown, Brandon Brown (Colleen), Bryce Brown (Krista), Jamy Landwehr (Chris), Brandy Hickerson (Brent), Emily Broemmer and Katie Broemmer. He is also survived by 42 Great Grandchildren and numerous Great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Quincy Senior Center or to St. Francis Catholic Church.
