He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Boyer and Bessie Boyer (Lincoln). He is survived by: his children, Randy Boyer of Quincy, IL, Wayne Boyer (Barb) of Kansas City, MO and Sherry Castiaux of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Eric Castiaux (Katie), Candice Germann (Wade), Dusty Boyer, Evan Boyer, Kristan Boyer and Brant Boyer; his children, Evan and Kristan; his great grandchildren, Parker, Hannah, Devin, Selene and Braiden; Stephanie Boyer.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fishing for Freedom or St. John's Lutheran Church.
