He is survived by: his wife Patricia Slater; his children, Lori Vogel (Sean Secrease), Lisa Vogel Adams (Rodney Brandenburg) and Mark Anthony Vogel; his grandchildren, Amanda West (Jeff), Michael Vogel, Megan Hurst (Bert), Douglas Inman, Mac McPike, Payton Adams, Paige Adams, Jack Adams, Jadyn Vogel and Kelan Vogel; his brother Donald Vogel; and his close friends, Brett and Kim Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the QCES Foundation to Benefit St. Francis Catholic School, Quincy Notre Dame Softball Team or Quincy Notre Dame Girls Basketball Team.
