Glenn W. Glessner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn W. Glessner of Quincy, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Glenn W. Glessner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Glessner and Alice Glessner (Kamphoff); his daughter Linda Vallier; his sisters, Marlys Engelhardt and Colleen Taranik; his stepson B. J. Jarrett; and his stepgrandson Blayne Jarrett.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Glessner of Paris, France and David Glessner (Irith) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his stepchildren, William Jarrett (Teresa), Brad Jarrett and Beverly Simmons (Richard); his grandchildren, Aidan Glessner, Gillian Glessner and Kieran Glessner; and his sister Carol McGilvrey. He is also survived by ten step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church or a charity of the donor's choosing.
