He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Baker and Alice Wisman Baker; his siblings-in-law, Floyd Tieman and Joyce Houston; and his daughter-in-law Joye Dell Baker.

He is survived by: his wife Melba Houston; his children, Roger Baker (Joanie) of Quincy, Larry Baker of Ursa, IL and Linda Walker (Elvin) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Stevee Sohn (Chad) of Quincy, Jesse Baker of Quincy, Sarah Barry (Chad) of Quincy, Bobby Baker (Kelly) of Quincy, Melissa Tillquist of Quincy and Katie Cash (Michael) of Gladstone, MO; his siblings, Wilma Tieman of Liberty, IL and Roy Baker (Ruth) of Quincy; and his brother-in-law Chuck Houston of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
