With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold T. Settles of Quincy, Illinois, born in La Harpe, Illinois, who passed away on October 9, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Settles and Helen Settles (Kirby); his son Timothy Settles; his grandfather Sam Kirby; his siblings, Fern, Mary, Colleen, Rick, Russell and Dale; and his nephews, Darrell, Wes and Jerry.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Osman; his son Harold; his grandchildren, Amanda, Tim, Johnny, Clay, Crystal (Mike), Wendy, Elizabeth, Tony and Sydney; his stepgrandchildren, Jenni, Julie, Trenton and Hailey; his great grandchildren, Madlen, Logan, Sebastian, Abby and Gabriel; and his siblings, Jim Settles (Phyllis) of Fort Madison, IA, Sheila Ostofi (Ken) of Durant, IA and Glenna Settles of Moline, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Quincy Humane Society, Quincy Area Cat Coalition, Homeward Bound Waggin, or to the family to help with funeral expenses.
