He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry "Hap" Straley and Dorothy Straley (Helmedag); and his sisters, Mary Fee and Sandra Straley. He is survived by : his wife Susan Straley (Young); his children, Jason Straley (Dominica Langley) of Rockledge, Kristan Miller (Brad) of Hull and Ryan Straley (Melissa) of Plainville, IL.; his grandchildren, Tristan Tyson, Trevor Langley, Tenley Straley of Rockledge, Florida, Blane, Brendan, Janyla Miller, Hayes, Lincoln Frericks of Hull, IL, Harrison, Nicholas Straley of Plainville and Ashtyn Smith of Quincy, IL.; his sisters, Cindy Duker of Liberty, MO and Judy Neisen (Glen) of Ewing, MO.; his aunt Helen Williams of Quincy; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Fee and William Duker. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Solanus School, Quincy Notre Dame High School or American Cancer Society.
