With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harvey John Dedert of Quincy, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dedert and Hilda Dedert (Mohrman); his wife Sally Ann Behrens; his son Jay Harvey Dedert; and his sisters, Mary Ellen Beckman Maxwell and Norma Jean Tipton.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Rogers (Paul) of Quincy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
