She was predeceased by: her husband Richard G. Martin, Sr. (Dick); her mother Ida M. Champion Howell; her siblings, Mary E. Hackett, Theresa M. Kruger, Annabelle M. Toleno and Amos R. W. Howell Sr.; and her granddaughter Christina M. Umstead.
She is survived by: her children, Connie M. Walsh (David) of Burlington Township, NJ, Richard G. Martin, Jr. (Janet) of Quincy, IL and Ralph W. Martin (Bernice) of Charleston, SC; her grandson Frederick C. Umstead (Darcy); her sons, Micah J. Martin (Holly) and Jared P. Martin; her granddaughters, Deborah A. Grimm, Karen E. Yosmanovich (Richard), Julia R. Togarepi (Tilma) and Ashley N. Martin; her brothers, Charles H. Howell Jr. (Carol) and Louis S. Howell Sr. (Anita); and her parents-in-law, Mae B. Cramer Martin and Marvin R. Martin. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
