Irene Palmer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Palmer (Quincy, Illinois), who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, W. E. "Tod" Harper and Mae Harper (Reische); her husband George Robert "Bob" Palmer; her grandson Zachariah Palmer; her sisters, Dorothy Pike and Maxine McCoy Mitchell; her son Jon Palmer; her daughter-in-law Daisy Palmer; her nieces and nephews, Karen Wellman, Sharon McClelland, Gary Pike and Harper Pike; her great-nephew Cyrus Pike; and her great-niece Polly Mefford.

She is survived by: her sons, Joel Palmer (Cindy) of Quincy, IL and Jim Palmer (Marla) of Quincy, IL; her granddaughter Kendelle Palmer of Quincy, IL; her great grandchild Alaina Palmer of Quincy, IL.; her nieces and nephews, Sharon Pike of Boonville, MO, Charles McClelland of Mount Sterling, IL, David McCoy (Marcia) and Judy Pike of Keokuk, IA; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tod Pike (Lori) of Solon, IA, Pam Hamilton (Forrest), Amy Pike of Keokuk, IA, Lori White (Bobby) of Ewing, MO, Troy Pike (Connie), Dawn Wellman of Quincy, IL, Wendy Chatfield of Quincy, IL, Monica Westpfahl (Kevin) of Mount Sterling, IL, Jeremy McClelland (Nikki) of Mount Sterling, IL and Kara Duncan (Denis).
