It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Grootens of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Grootens and Clara Grootens (Knight). He is survived by : his sister-in-law Debbie (Kurt); his siblings, Patricia Swank (Marty), Tony Grootens (Heather), Kevin Grootens (Debbie) and Stacy Howe (David); his close friend Nancy Fruehling; and his friends, Troy Rehrig, Vic Seybold and Randy Hagerbaumer. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.
