James L. Steeples Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane A. Steeples and Jeannine Steeples (Cullen). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Louise Mahoney; his children, Jim (Tammy) of Quincy and Shawn (Michelle) of Plainville, IL.; his grandchildren, Angela Smith (Eric Mating), Jennifer Stickler, Adam Wiechert, Jessey Beaston (Aaron), Jeff Steeples, Allie Jensen (Shawn), Terry Sheets Jr. (Taelor) and Jesse Sheets; his siblings, Robert Steeples (Debbie), Rick Steeples and Patty Jones (Rick); and his aunts, Deanna Iverson and Jayne Galle.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post #37 or the Illinois Veteran's Home Activity Fund.
