It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Mitchell of Quincy, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Mitchell and Virginia Dyer Mitchell; his nephews, Mike Mitchell and Kevin Kelly; and his niece Jessica Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Mitchell; his children, Tim Mitchell (Renee), Kristen Doran (Dan) and Karen Faber (Mike); his grandchildren, Josh Helgoth, Abby Helgoth and Jack Mitchell; and his siblings, Judy Davis (Dean), Jan Kelly (Ross), Tom Mitchell (Barbara), Jerry Mitchell (Janet) and Dennis Mitchell (Melissa). He is also survived by three step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren.
