He was predeceased by: his parents, Odilo A. Ponsot and Margaret E. Ponsot (Oeschner); and his siblings, Louis N. Ponsot and Mary Louise Stolz. He is survived by: his children, Mark S. Ponsot of Monroe City, MO, Gary R. Ponsot (Jaunita) of Union, MO, Michael K. Ponsot (Rae Dean) of Quincy and Deborah A. Brown (Randy) of Round Rock, Texas.. He is also survived by Three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (2223 St Anthony Rd, Quincy, IL 62305). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus TV Mass for Shut-Ins, the Great River Honor Flight or to the Illinois Veterans Home Activities Fund.
