He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferd Steinkamp and Rosina Steinkamp (Genenbacher); and his siblings, Charles Steinkamp (Rita), Mildred Bockhold (Virgil), Elmer Steinkamp (Rosetta), Richard Steinkamp (Edna) and Alvera Bockhold (Sylvester).
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Kuhn; his children, Michael Steinkamp (Madeline) of Los Alamos, NM, Catherine Mikelson (Jack) of Chandler, AZ and Susan Steinkamp; his sister Florence Dietrich (Tom); his siblings-in-law, Bill Jansen, Janet Allison (Ray) and Barbara St (Stephen); his grandchildren, Jennifer Mikelson, Julie Hill (Brandon), Jamie Stein (Justin), Henry Steinkamp, William Steinkamp, George Steinkamp, Arthur Steinkamp, Charles Steinkamp and Margaret Steinkamp; and his great grandchildren, Lillian and James Hill. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or to Quincy Notre Dame High School or to Right to Life.
