He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Waterkotte and Carlene Waterkotte (Welchert); his wife Sharon Waterkotte (Schildt); his daughter Amy Waterkotte; his siblings, John Waterkotte and Janet Waterkotte; and his nephew Jason Harvey.
He is survived by: his brother Jerry Waterkotte of Quincy; his children, Erik Waterkotte (Emmy) of Cincinnati, Todd Waterkotte of Phoenix, Arizona and Katie Vitale of Beardstown, Illinois; his grandchildren, Thomas James Waterkotte (TJ), Anna Waterkotte, Isabella Vitale, Gabriella Vitale and Hayley Cox; his sister Carol; his brother-in-law Don Harvey; and his nieces and nephews, Lori Catalpa, Steve Harvey, Sara Harvey and Matt Harvey. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members, treasured friends.
