She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dale and Lilly Dale (Hardy); her spouse Cledith Anthony "Tony" Slater; and her siblings, Maxine Pettyjohn and Donald D. Dale.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Moody (Donna) of Quincy, IL and Paul E. Moody (Ann) of Quincy, IL. She is also survived by several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
