She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hammond and Thelma Hammond; her husband John H. Green; her brothers, Wesley and Boone Hammond; and her children, Judith Wynn and John R. Green.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Cassandra Green of Springfield, IL; her grandchildren, Rodney Wynn of Inkster, MI, Gabrielle Green of Chicago, IL, Chanté of Springfield, IL, Kiera Green of Springfield, IL, Isabella Green of Quincy, IL, Shaonda Gavin (Ezra) of Peoria, IL and Mikayla Valentine (Mortez) of Peoria, IL; her great grandchildren, Camryn, Kendyl, Breyer Wynn and Zola Preston; her sisters, Marguerite Johnson of Quincy, IL, Betty, Ruth Hammond of Los Angeles, CA, Thelma Cooley (Frank) of Rancho Cordova, CA and Anna Coleman of Sacramento, CA; and her sister-in-law Delores Hammers of Quincy, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
