He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Shoop and Pauline Shoop; his wife Nancy Shoop (Friday); and his brothers, Thomas Alan Shoop, Buddy Lloyd Shoop, Charles Shoop and Vernie Shoop.
He is survived by: his siblings, John W. Shoop (Juanita) of Mendon, James W. Shoop of Pensacola, Florida and Jody Shoop (Bobette) of Pensacola; his children, Angela Shoop Shaffer of Quincy, Jerry Jr. Shoop (Melissa) of Decatur, Dillan Shoop of Quincy, Diana Dochterman, Michelle Duesterhaus and Kelvin Thompson; his grandchild Jerry Shoop III; his children, Devin Shoop, Timothy Duran Garland Shoop and Ashton Underwood (Shoop); his great grandchild Elisianna Underwood; his grandchildren, Kiran Garland, Freya Shoop, Lilly Rose Shoop, Jerry Shoop IV and Raylyn Shoop; and his sister Carolyn Sue Dunivin (Shoop).
