He was predeceased by : his wife Sharon Clampitt. He is survived by : his daughter Suzan Graham (Gary); his grandchildren, Matthew Denum and Kimberly Tipton (Jared); his great grandchildren, Mattis Tipton and Atlas Tipton; and his niece Marveena Shanahan (Chris).

Memorials may be made to the Great River Honor Flight in his memory.
