He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Lugering and Margaret Lugering (Dittmer); his wife Penny Kay Bridgman; his daughter Teresa Ann Lugering; his stepmother Marian Lugering; and his brothers, Mark Lugering and Rory Lugering.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christina Kraft (Ronald) of Palmyra, MO and Durinda Martin (Bill) of Center, MO.. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews.
