He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Gilbert and Selma Gilbert (Austin); his sister Sharon Church; his siblings-in-law, Marvin Church, Ronnie Kelley, Pat Muegge and Peggy Wear; and his nephew Kevin Wear.
He is survived by: his wife Marva Kelley; his children, Dana Bliven and Ryan Gilbert (Laurie); his grandsons, Zach Bliven (Andria) and Brody Gilbert; and also, Naomi, Hudson and Stormy Bliven.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veteran's Home Activity Fund or the Great River Honor Flight.
