She was predeceased by: her parents, Oden Sparks and Frances Peterson Sparks; her husband Clifton Oitker; her daughter-in-law Mary Sutton; her grandchildren, Jeannie McDowell, Kari Shahan and Michael McDowell; her brother Russell Sparks; and her nephew Gary Sparks.
She is survived by: her children, Odena McDowell (Virgil) of Baylis, IL and Marion "Rusty" Sutton of Rushville, IL; and her grandsons, Lucas McDowell (Alicia), Brian Sutton (Tammy), Brent Sutton and Jeff Sutton (Jennifer). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
