She was predeceased by: her parents, Ace Harter and Edith Prost Harter; her children, Jay, Jeff Humphrey and Theresa Humphrey; and her husband Laurence Kent.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim Humphrey (Linda) of Blue Grass, IA and Jon Humphrey of Galva, IL; and her sister Linda Carper (Dave) of Quincy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
