With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julie Hyer (Quincy, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Julie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Julie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dana Schrader and Paula Warrick Schrader; her former husband Marvin Rabe; her daughters, Lindsey Anne Frese and Cassie Lynn Rabe; her grandchildren, Jackson Frese and Ellie Frese; and her husband Jon Daniel Hyer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home (1535 State St, Quincy, IL 62301).
