He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Durst and Katherine Selig Durst; his wife Janet Huff; his daughters, Amy Durst of Peoria, IL and Renee Durst (Mark Liffiton) of Bloomington, IL; his granddaughters, Amber Durst (Christopher Platt) of Atlanta, GA and Toni Durst Moore of Peoria, IL; his great grandchild Sebastian James; Katherine Durst of Quincy.
