He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Houghton and Moxie Houghton (King); his siblings, Don Houghton (Geri) and Joyce Houghton; and his brother-in-law Jim Colvin.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Colvin; and his grandchildren, Geoffrey Speckhart, Nathan Speckhart (Katy), Patrick Vogler, Caitlin Vogler, Brittany Durst (Cory), Taylor Bugg (Alex), Kale Houghton (Gabby), Katlin Braun (Sam), Bryce Klusmeyer, Elizabeth Edwards, Zachery Edwards (Jacki), Paige Jones, Emily Jones, Bella Will, Zach Postma (Christina), Jacob Postma (Erin) and David Postma (Jo). He is also survived by wife of 63 years and his children, fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
