She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Sparks and Verna Sparks (Mason); her husband Franklin T. "Butch" Bowen; her daughter Joann Blanchett; and her siblings, Joan Tucker, Eddie Dean Sparks and Robert Gay Sparks.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Burdette (Ray) of Keokuk, IA, Clarence Finley of Quincy and Shane Finley of Quincy; her stepdaughters, Margaret Little and Loretta Bowen; her siblings, Rodney Sparks of Quincy, Regina Sparks of Mendon, IL and Steve Sparks (Rose) of Ewing, MO; and her grandchildren, Precious Thomas, Antonia, James Benninghoff, Patrick West, Steven Masterson, Brooklyn Moore, Zoeie Finley, Zayne Fenton, Zachery Tuter, Matthew Thomas and Jeremy Bowen.
