He was predeceased by: his parents, Gearold L. Whitaker, Sr. and Rose Mary Whitaker Wright. He is survived by: his daughter Emily; and his siblings, Rosa Love (Mike), Theresa Whitfield (Ken), Gearold Whitaker, Jr. and Richard D. Whitaker.
