It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lori Ann Russell of Quincy, Illinois, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Ellen Ames (Ulry) of New London, MO.; her aunt Kathryn "Sue" Jones; her father-in-law George A. Russell; and her nephew Glenn "Jamie" Cornelius. She is survived by: her father Walter "Bud" Purvis; her husband George Ellis Russell; her children, Brent Russell of Quincy, IL., Holly Knuf (Jason) of Quincy, IL. and Christina Reid (James) of Quincy, IL.; her grandchildren, Kilee, Noah, Aurora, Lorenzo, Emileo and Arabella; her siblings, Jay Purvis (Leslie) of Hannibal, MO and Kathy Cornelius (Greg) of New London, MO; her sister-in-law Violet Bentley (Brian) of Wentzville, MO.; her mothers-in-law, Linda and Florence Russell; her nieces, Kasey Moss, Kassondra Terrill and Amanda Allen; her godmother Cheryl Lee of Hannibal, MO; and her friends, Mary Neuser and Karen Robertson. She is also survived by Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews.
