She was predeceased by: her parents, William Worthington and Betty Jean Worthington (Wilson); her husband Lloyd Ivan Bennett; and her sisters, Jo Stick and Vicky Worthington.

She is survived by: her son Bryan Swift (Shelly) of Quincy; her grandchildren, Levi, Laci and Kobe Swift; her stepgranddaughters, Ashley and Alyssa Daggett; her great grandchildren, Landyn and Lincoln Swift; her stepgreat-grandson Tyson Daggett; and her siblings, Phyllis Worthington, Pam Weaver, Jeff Worthington (Lucy) and Mike Worthington.

Memorials may be made in Kay's memory to the Summum Christian Church in Summum Illinois.
