He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilfred "Bill" Klingler and Nadine Klingler (Disselhorst). He is survived by : his aunt Ruth Disselhorst. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
