With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark G. Hughes (Quincy, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Hughes (Quincy). He is survived by: his mother Janet Hughes (Bergman); his siblings, Diane Kemner (Dan) and Tim Hughes (Wendy); his niece Kristie Kemner Schoen (Payne); his nephews, Evan Kemner (Lilly) and Cayge Hughes; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Charlston "Charlie", Chamberlin "Chambo" Schoen, Calvin and Noah Kemner. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The American Diabetes Association in memory of his father Bill Hughes, or to Quincy University's St. Clare's Student Needs Center.
