He was predeceased by: his brother David Sherwood. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa; and his siblings, Theresa Shipe, George Dreyer, Joe Dreyer, Maurice Dreyer Jr., Marilyn Crim and Maurine Holt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church - Quincy (2223 St Anthony Rd, Quincy, IL 62305).
