Marsha Joann Forrest Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marsha Joann Forrest of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marsha Joann Forrest to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hummel and Gwen Hummel (Duncan); her siblings, Shirley Martin, Terry Lee Hummel and Michael Hummel; and her daughter Cheryl Lear.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Forrest (Paula) of Quincy and Lisa Childress (Donald) of Canton, MO; her son-in-law Jerry Lear of Quincy; her grandchildren, Dustin Forrest (Erin), Nicole Bowen (Ramey), Kristen Parsons (Jamie), Christopher Lear (Kaylin), Danielle Post (Craig), Danny Casey and Jacob Childress; and her sister Debbie Brown (Rich) of Spokane, WA.. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Blessing Cancer Center or QMG Cancer Center.
