She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry E. Lindhorst and Alma Lindhorst (Elliott); her husband Frank Hays; her son Bob; and her siblings, Francis, Harry Lindhorst and Dolores Trammel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Weber (Fred), Karla Richmond (Francis), Lisa Irvine (Mike) and Sharon Vahlkamp (Steve); her daughter-in-law Judy Hays; her siblings, Paul Lindhorst and Regina Lindhorst; her grandchildren, Mike Irvine, Mandy Swisher (Joel), Jason Weber (Nicole), Robbie Marold (Kathy), Laura Rheinecker (Joe), Ryan Marold and Anna Vahlkamp; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Lucy Weber, Jackson, Jordan, Samantha Rheinecker, Elizabeth, Meredith Marold, Mia, Oliver Irvine and Hudson Swisher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1119 S 7th St, Quincy, IL 62301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or to Quincy Notre Dame High School.
