It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Mitchell of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Lou Mitchell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Freeman and Florence Marie Carroll Hoaglin; her husband William "Bill" K. Mitchell; her sons, Kenneth Mitchell, Phillip Mitchell and William K. Mitchell, Jr.; her grandson Jesse Mitchell; and her siblings, Helen Wiley, Nancy Brown, Donald Hoaglin and David Hoaglin.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michelle Hocking (Joe), Billie Kramer (Stephanie) and Anthony Kramer; her brother John Hoaglin of Columbus; and her sister-in-law Betty Wilcox of Jacksonville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Columbus Road Baptist Church, the Salvation Army or to the Crescent Heights Cemetery Association.
