He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Butts and Virginia Butts; and his brothers, Roger and Bryan. He is survived by: his stepfather Charles Mitchell; his wife Tara McCabe; his daughters, Babs Lock (Jim) and DeeAnn Rice (Brian); his brother Steve Butts (Peggy); and his grandchildren, Easton Allen (Shian), Josh Lock (Crissy), Katie Lewis (Jason), Lydia Lock, Dallas Rice and Daytona McCabe (Leighton). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
