We are sad to announce that, on March 31, 2022, at the age of 88, Merritt L. Trantor of Quincy, Illinois, born in Shelbina, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merritt L. Trantor to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy V. Trantor and Nellie Irene Studer; and his siblings, Harry James Trantor and Bernice Maupin. He is survived by: his wife Frances A. Hildmann; his children, Teena Jo Trantor Warner (Jeff) of Quincy and Mark Eugene Trantor (Dana) of Fowler, Illinois; his grandchildren, Lyndsey Martin, Zachary Warner (Lauren Fernandez), Brooke Trantor and Bethany Trantor (Samantha Koscher); and his sister-in-law Mary Elizabeth Rash of St. Charles, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to American Red Cross or Quincy Medical Group Foundation Cancer Institute.
