He is survived by: his children, Ryan Hellenthal of Quincy, IL, Renee Birkett (Steve) of Scottsdale, AZ, Resa Hellenthal of Galesburg, IL and Robin Travelstead of Scottsdale, AZ; his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Cassie and Mason Birkett; and his siblings, Monte Hellenthal (Alice) of Fort Madison, IA, Marsha Ramaker (Gary) of Keokuk, IA and Mary Schneider (Tom) of Burlington, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
