He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Gene and Marianna Jean Glover Pontius; and his brother Joey Pontius. He is survived by: his aunts, Wanda Lyons of San Marcos, TX and Shirley Glover of Mt. Pleasant, IA. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
