She was predeceased by: her father Stan Higgins; her sister Mary Higgins; and her stepbrother Benny Tedrow. She is survived by: her mother Betty Higgins Tedrow (Keith); her sons, Parker, Halee Higgins of Jefferson City, MO and Alex Higgins of Quincy, IL.; her granddaughter Bryar Higgins; and her close friend Bobby Phillips. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Quincy Humane Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
